Liberty Ventures Pitch Calls 2024: A Spotlight on Innovation

Since its launch in 2023, Liberty Ventures has reviewed over 600 opportunities to invest in values-aligned startups and we have invited 58 of them to pitch to investors in our syndicate. 

Our now-monthly pitch calls are a platform for innovation and fostering connections between entrepreneurs, investors and mentors. These calls have led to investments in 16 of the startups, more connections formed and more support to help values-aligned founders to grow. 

Looking back on the last (almost) 2 years, we want to feature some of the startups that have presented, whether or not the syndicate invested.

Its non-invasive solutions empower people with disabilities to communicate and control their environment using thought alone.

• Mission: Building a wearable AR/AI platform that combines BCI, AR, and AI to change lives.

ZeroMark

Industry: Defense and Space Manufacturing

• Progress: Raised $7M in seed funding to develop its AI-powered auto-aiming systems, which transform standard rifles into effective counter-drone solutions. ZeroMark has attracted notable investors, including Andreessen Horowitz.

• Mission: Enhancing soldiers' abilities to detect, assess, and neutralize threats with precision and safety.

Qusecure

Industry: Computer and Network Security

• Progress: A leader in post-quantum cryptography, Qusecure has earned a Zero Trust Security Excellence Award and joined AWS and NVIDIA programs to expand its quantum-resilient cryptographic solutions.

• Mission: Offering simple software solutions with classical and quantum-resilient protection for cybersecurity and business leaders.

• Progress: Revolutionizing food distribution with a modern, efficient approach to getting products on store shelves.

• Progress: Recently introduced AI-powered translations supporting nearly 60 languages, enabling global communication through video messages. CEO Victor Cho was featured at IMPACT 5050, further cementing the company's thought leadership.
